Fuel pump took a shit, its Walbro replacement will be here Thursday

In the meantime I thought I’d tackle the clunky wiper problem, only to find the root cause is a pair of grommets that may be unobtainium at this point. So the cowl and such are dissected until I can find, purchase, or fabricate, replacement rubbers.

If you buy another wiper assembly will it come with the grommets?

Dropping the tank, or cutting a trap door?

How involved is it to get to those grommets? If it’s not terrible I might see if there’s any at the junkyard this weekend (if it’s not raining)

PO cut the door already so I’m good on that :). The grommets can be a bitch:

Remove wiper arms
Remove cowl
Remove bolt and (10mm nut under stud) holding driver arm brace, remove arm brace
Remove bolt holding motor in place, pull out. Grommets should be attached

From what I’ve found, ‘93-’97 are the design I need; they updated the motor for ‘98.
